Mr. Marapudi is an exceptional consultant. He performed a hip replacement for me on February 5th 2020 at Macclesfield Hospital as a NHS patient. The operation and outcome have been superb. It is just over 3 months since the operation and I am currently walking approx. 7k in just over an hour in the local park. I am walking without a limp and without any pain, this was unimaginable prior to the operation. I will be 70 years old next week and this has given me so much renewed pleasure in physical activity. Mr. Marapudi anticipates that I will be able to run again in a year when the healing is fully competed. I am looking forward to this and returning to the gym when a new normality resumes. This is very important to me as I am physically fit and active and this restores my quality of life.
I had great confidence in Mr. Marapudi from the 1st consultation to my arrival in hospital on the day of the operation. He and his team were courteous, informative and reassuring. This was my first experience of hospital and I was very nervous, but I felt fully confident in Mr. Marapudi's care. He even took the time to phone my husband after the operation to inform him that the operation had gone well.
